Jesus is the Light of the World

Last week during homeschool we learned all about the letter S and about the sun. We learned that like the sun Jesus is the light of the world. We read some fantastic books like Moonbear's Shadow and read the poem "My Shadow". We made a sundial to tell time, cupcakes that are suns, we traced our shadow at different times during the day and of course played sun tag! We listened and danced to classical music (Nutcracker Suite). We memorized scripture and talked about how Jesus is like the sun in our life. We had so much fun learning together and even Ashlynn joined in with us.
