So Kurt and I decided to do a little (a lot!) bit of renovation on our new home. As most home projects a little thing like tearing down a wall goes a little crazy.. Because maybe just maybe the wall is a major support wall with drain pipes, heating ducts and two sets of water lines oh yeah. But the good news is the wall is stripped. It may take a year before all of it is complete but it is tore down. Chad, Kurt and I worked hard while the kids napped tearing down a main wall that seperates the kitchen/dining room with the living room. We are desperately praying for a plumber to arrive quickly to reroute some lines and ducts and praying that it will be an easy job. We have made a lot of progress on other areas in our house including a new front door, painted outside shutters black, new sink but my favorite is the custom cottage wall on our living room. While we have made some progress I am sorry to say we are still not completely unpacked, organized or set up. I will try to get some before and after pictures of the house once everything settles. (maybe in 5 years!)
