Ashlynn Alice-Grace

As some of you already know Ashlynn has had a rough start. She has been very gassy, lots of spit up and lots of screaming. She has episodes that could last up to four hours at a time. She was never happy and feeding her seemed to be the only way to keep her content but not for long. Thank God Kurt has been off of work with me otherwise no one would be getting any sleep or sanity. But in the past two weeks she has been slowly getting better. She has been eating less frequently, sleeping better and longer and actually being able to play without being held.

Three weeks ago she had her one month check up and the Dr was very pleased with her color, her strength and her size. At birth she weighed in at 6.8 ounces and 19.5 inches. At one month she was 8 pounds and 13 ounces and 22 inches long. The Dr. also said that her balance and strength are amazing.

Today Ashlynn is now seven weeks old and is giving us terrific smiles and yesterday she rolled over twice. We have to move her out of the bassinet as she is actually moving by scooching to the sides. So as you can see Kurt and I have our hands full with this one.

I have a picture somewhere like this with my dad and I and I always loved it. So you can imagine how happy I am that Ashlynn will have one like this also.
