Strawberry picking

The past two years Megan and I have taken the kids to go strawberry picking. We love to be in the fields picking berries and teaching our kids about where the berries come from and how they are grown. (We also just like spending time together and of course spending time with the kids). My husband was wonderful enough to watch Cahill so we did not spend half of the time chasing her around the fields. Seventeen pounds of strawberries later we headed to the air conditioned condo to make freezer jam and lunch. We finished out the day with a pizza and pool party at Megan' house. We had such an amazing day and we all slept very well that night.


Okay so the first pic does not have strawberries in it but I had to add it. I snuck in to watch Cahill sleep and this is what I saw..

I think that they ate as much as we bought!!! ( no pesticides so they can eat them right away)
