Baby News

As most of you know Kurt and I have been blessed with a new baby on the way. I am officially 16 weeks along and still taking it one day at a time. I have had a very difficult time between being very sick, three different rashes all over my body, indigestion, heart burn, fatigue, headaches and other stuff you never want to know about. The last couple of weeks have been a little better and some days are good and some days are really bad. But by God's grace and strength I have made it this far and look forward to the months ahead being a little easier. I had a Dr's appt yesterday and he said everything looks great. The heart beat is at 150 (last check up was at 160) and I am measuring ahead of 16 weeks. I am still taking the Zofran as I am still having a hard time but I have been able to lower the dose I take everyday. (praise God)

The other morning as I woke up on my right side I could tell my baby was snuggled on the right side. I reached down and I could feel the outline of the body. I quickly woke Kurt up and had him feel as it was so amazing and the best encouragement I could ever get. I have felt very small movements here and there and enjoyed everyone of them. On July 2, I have my next appt and the ultrasound is scheduled. While last baby we waited until the end to find out what gender we were having this time we will find out in three weeks. To say I am excited is an understatement as I will count down the days until I know. At this point we will be happy with a boy or a another girl.

I will try to keep up with my posts and keep everyone informed about this beautiful baby growing inside of me. I will take some photos even though this stage always looks the worst.. (can anyone say bloated and thick waisted?))) But for you my family and friends I will do anything..

I love all of you and thanks for all your prayers and thoughts as I have needed every single last one of them..

Jessica
