Stimpson Blog: Snabes Wedding in Petoskey

On Saturday Kurt and I were honored to be invited to his cousin Rachelle's wedding. The wedding proved to be more of an adventure then anticipated. Kurt and I dropped baby off to Aunt May May for the day and evening and headed up to Petoskey. Kurt's parents had rented us a four bedroom condo with fireplace and hot tub on the deck. (the whole family stayed in the condo) The wedding was to take place on the top of Boyce Highland via chairlift. The best part of the day was the fact that the weather was insane. It was freezing, mostly cloudy and was raining off and on all day. But thank the Lord the raining stopped by the time we sat on the chairlift. The wedding was beautiful with vows handwritten by the bride and groom. After the wedding Kurt and I were determined to enjoy every moment of the day that we had together. We headed back to the condo and ate like we were on vacation and then hit the hot tub, Kurt took a nap and I visited Facebook. Then we headed for the reception to have a wonderful dinner and a night of dancing. I had such an amazing time loving my hubby and having him all day to myself. It was perfect being surrounded by family and spending dancing time with my two favorite sister-in-laws. So enough of the verbal and on to the photos...Just another thank you for my amazing sister that made all of this possible by watching my beautiful child so that my hubby and I could share a wonderful day together..
