tutus

One of my goals this winter was to learn how to make tutus so Cahill could run around wearing them everywhere. (Alyssa gave me the idea as her blog and photography just inspires me!!!). I had to find the perfect pattern as I knew exactly what I wanted. So after about an hour in the fabric store (with all kinds of crazy ideas) I found the perfect pattern. So I bought 5 yards of pink and red thule and I was on my way. When I arrived at home I realized that I did not even have a sewing machine nor any assistant to help me decipher this new language. You will have to excuse me as if you remember I analyze things for a living so sewing is foreign to me. I asked for all kinds of advice and tried to find the perfect assistant. Well I found her and she was perfect and even had her own sewing machine. Alice, (my mother-in-law) helped me every step of the way. To say the least I became the assistant.
