Labor Day weekend Baby Shower

Megan and Linda hosted a world class Baby Shower for Cahill over the weekend that would make Rachel Ray proud. The menu included Asian chicken salads, fresh bread, homemade pizza, fresh fruit, chocolate chip cookies (when I bit into these I wanted to cry as they were so amazing) and of course Megan's famous sugar cookies tart cherry cobbler. The food was so amazing I did not even want to stop eating to open presents. Linda decided to have a sit down dinner so we could all eat together and I thought that was a beautiful idea. She had the table decorated with pink roses and set with matching beautiful dinnerware.The only thing that could beat the food was all of the guests. The guests included Irma and family, Linda and family, Debbie, Jenny and Becky, nanna and great, Hayley and Grandma Stimpson. The presents were amazing and would take a whole page to describe so I will list a couple. The gifts included Dr. Seuss Books, clothes, burp rags, shoes, baby Einstein DVD and a frog pod for the bath tub. Linda made a blanket, pillow and a matching bunny (all pink) that you would have to see to believe. (I will take a picture and add to the blog) Megan made onesies with sock monkeys on them and a fleece blanket with a sock monkey on it and Cahill's name. (I will take a picture of this also.) It was the best shower I have ever been a part of and thank everyone that participated and hosted the event.
