As promised here is the 26 week picture. We have finally reached the third tri-mester where heart burn reigns. I love my tums. My next Dr's appt is schelduled for May 5th and promises lots of excitement. The only new developments besides weight gain is the new found love for ice cream, limeade and sourdough bread. You have to admit that you love the pajama bottons I have on. (Christmas gift from Aunt Irma, she knew I needed them) Thanks Irma!!!!

On the 10th we had yet another Dr's appt. The Dr said that the ultrasound was
perfect and everything that he wanted to see.. Wahoo!!!
The baby's heart beat was at 150 again so hoping that means a girl.
He measured my belly to see the size of the Uterus!!!
The he gave me a very gross looking orange drink to take for the next time that we meet in May. I guess it will check my sugar levels and how I absorb my sugar.
On the 26th, I will start my last trimester and we will be in the home stretch.
In the meantime, I have gained 22 pounds and can not get enough bread. (sourdough ohhhh)The baby has finally moved away from my bladder but now is giving me a great amount of heart burn. The baby loves to kick and punch and spin at about 6am in the morning and late at night. She definetly knows how to move well and is getting stronger every day..

This is a picture of game night at my house last weekend. This is our 22 week picture. I am still embarassed to take a picture of just the belly at this point but will be braver as it gets bigger..

This is the ultrasound taken at 20 weeks.
I hope that the picture is as clear to you as it is to me. You should be able to make out the nose, mouth, head, belly and the little hands. I am glad that it turned out as clear as it did as mom and dad are so proud of the first picture.

Well to say the least my pregnancy has been a exciting ride.. In a matter of 4 months we have had 3 ultrasounds,a hospital stay, wierd rashes, bladder spasms and more Morphine then I ever want to have again. But the dust has settled and nausea has stopped. The good news is that last week momma and daddy went to the Dr and heard the baby's heart rate for the first time. I have switched Dr's and absolutely love my new one.. Dr Bump.. So far the cravings have been an adventure and consisted of deep fried pickles, shamrock shakes, peanut butter crunch and many others. Of course none of these have been consistent and our grocery bills have doubled. But all in all I have been given half of my normal life back and I am very happy.

Last week Kurt and I had another monthly check up with the DR. I have gained 13 pounds so far and have made it half of the way through the pregnancy. (20 weeks)We had the chance to hear the baby's heart beat again even though every time the DR found the beat the baby ran away. The exciting news is that March 21 we are schelduled for another unltrasound and will have the chance to see the baby again. We also have the chance to find out the gender even though we have opted to leave it as a suprise. I will make sure to post the new ultrasound picture as soon as possible for all to see. I will also start including pictures of the belly so we can watch it grow together.

Last Friday, Kurt and I had our final ultrasound. We received a great photo which I will post as soon as I can. The baby is 12 ounces and looks beautiful. My due date has been confirmed as August 5th. The belly is definetly getting bigger and I am in all maternity pants as nothing else will even come close to buttoning up. The baby is belly down and sitting really low on all of my organs... (the baby is also breach at this point)We were able to see the baby dancing on my bladder as it likes to kick alot. I have been able to feel a lot of movement in the last week as the baby is getting stronger. In the morning before I get up I am able to actually feel the location of the baby external so I talk to it and rub my belly and sometimes the baby moves as I am rubbing it. I will confirm that we did not let the technician tell us the gender even though it was a hard decision. Our next appt is this Friday where we get to see the midwife at the Dr's office and will be our 6 month check up.

Horrible pregnancies must be some sort of family curse...I've always wanted to slap people that said that pregnancy made them feel better than ever. I'm so glad you're finally feeling better. I excited to keep up with you blog!
